Patrick Frost. Film for Change
Simon had previously worked with Patrick for another client, and connected effortlessly from the start. Maybe it was something to do with their lack of hair or general passion for great things. Who knows?
However, we think it was his calmness and softly spoken demeanour when working, that made us sit up and take note. Patrick was somewhat different.
Whilst his level of self-reflection and thinking had a depth and empathy that is rare to find, he had difficulties in conveying them.
As we explored this, it was agreed that Simon would mentor Patrick to work collaboratively to articulate who he is, and what he stands for: a ‘personal branding’ project that would probe into Patrick’s soul.
During conversations and explorations, Patrick started to show a level of vulnerability that complimented his level of thinking and empathy.
A personal brand positioning was crafted, which informed a creative brief that was executed by a Taking Five collaborator. This re: launched Patrick as a creative Film Maker who advocates change.
We wanted to share with you what we crafted as his ‘Brand Benefit’ for his clients, as it is rare to produce something with such depth and sentiment.
Patrick’s Benefit:
‘Without the darkness, you would never know the light. I found the light in the beauty of the sea, I chose to be happy. It is important to sometimes destroy a bit of yourself as an artist to let go of the past, I have been a photographer but have now redeveloped into a filmmaker, at heart, I am a visual artist. I can embrace and see nature unlike others, I have a deep interconnectedness with nature, the sea, and people. Accessing these things makes me feel alive.
I am here to document this.
For my client, for me.
Sympathetically. Powerfully.’
