We worked with Simon when we were first setting up our business and his input was invaluable. In our minds, we had the core business idea. I knew what I wanted to create, and Simon’s expertise guided my creative ideas into a more workable structure, as well as showing me where to begin with brand positioning and marketing. He was patient, interested, asked pertinent questions & listened. Throughout my preparation to launch ‘Sarah Ireland’, we met regularly which helped me to maintain accountability to the next steps which can be hard if you are setting something up on your own; he expressed his opinions based on his experience but maintained a role of advisor. I was provided with some amazing contacts through Simon including a designer, a photographer and a local stockist. The day working with the photographer was a real ‘pinch-me’ moment which resulted in a fabulous day seeing my product finally brought to life in stunning photographs. This process was overseen and managed by Simon, and I still use the gorgeous photos which captured my vision and my perfume brand so beautifully. He also facilitated connections with local stockists which were important for exposure and the brand has benefitted as a result of these connections. I have gone on to develop many more products since my launch in June 2018, have been featured in a perfume book, local press, been a finalist in two fragrance foundation awards, am stocked in carefully selected boutiques and am working on new releases as well as other future ventures.
